John Elvin SPENCER Charles Edmund SPENCER ~ born Oct 9, 1892 at Boston, MA; he married Eva Agnes Wood Nov 7, 1912 at Holbrook, MA; died Jun 4, 1958 at Brockton, MA and is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater, MA.

The family lived in Holbrook until about 1922.  They moved to Brockton, first to a tenement on the East Side (Pine Street?), then to the farm on Alger street.  Charles was a boot maker when he was young and was a housepainter later in life.

Eva Agnes WOOD ~ born Jun 27, 1895 at Holbrook; died Dec 4, 1953 at Brockton and is also buried in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Osborne and Laura A. Belcher.  Frederick died Sep 30, 1918 at Braintree from influenza in the great epidemic of 1918.  Alice married (2) Jan 12, 1924 at Holbrook, Arthur E. Moffett, son of William H. Moffett and Eva G. Burbank. With Frederick:
  • Chester Elvin (1913-1972) married Mildred Roche; two children, Chester W. and M. Shirley.  Shirley m. (______) Austin and was Town Clerk of Holbrook.
