William PONTUS    1632 ~ born by about 1585 probably near Dover, England; married Wybra Hansen Dec 4, 1610 at Leiden, Netherlands; died Feb 9, 1653 at Plymouth, MA.  He was a "fustian-worker" according to his Leiden marriage record and was a woolcarder there in 1622.

Wybra HANSEN    1632 ~ born in England.

John SHAW    1627 ~ born by about 1597 in England; married Alice (______) before 1622 (assuming she was the mother of his children) in England; died sometime after Jan 1664 at Plymouth, MA.  He was a planter and mentioned in numerous early Plymouth documents.

Alice (______) ~ she died at Plymouth Mar 6, 1655.

Thomas PRENCE    Fortune 1621 ~ born about 1600 probably at Lechdale, Gloucestershire, England;  married (1) Patience Brewster Aug 5, 1624 at Plymouth, MA.  After her death in 1634 he married (2) Mary Collier Apr 1, 1635 at Plymouth.  She died sometime before 1644 and he then married (3) Apphia (Quick) Freeman, former wife of Samuel Freeman.  His final marriage, about 1665-1668, was to (4) Mary, widow of Thomas Howes.  Thomas Prence died Mar 29, 1673 at Plymouth and is buried there.

Thomas Prence first settled at Plymouth.  He removed to Duxbury by 1637, Eastham 1644 and back to Plymouth by 1665.  He served as governor of the Plymouth Colony in 1634, 1638 and from 1657-1672, as well as numerous other positions in the government of the colony.

Richard WARREN    Mayflower 1620 ~ born about 1578 in England; married Elizabeth (______) by about 1609; he died at Plymouth, MA 1628.  He was part of the party that explored the outer Cape and is described as being "of London".

Elizabeth (______)    Anne 1623 ~ she died Oct 2, 1673 at Plymouth, aged about 90 (probably an exaggeration).  Note that she did not come with her husband on the "Mayflower" but came a few years later on the "Anne" with their five daughters.

The European origins of Richard Warren have never been discovered.
Some publications give her surname as "March" but there is no source documentation supporting this.  Her origins, like her husband's, are unknown.
